i have two things to say today:
1. last night's haikyuu!! episode. i'm almost sure it was my favourite haikyuu!! episode of all of them. like, yes, you could say it was technically a filler but wow, it was so great. like, tsukishima character development?? and how every team made a comeback?? (the appearance of nekoma and fukurodani in particular got me) the introduction to mad dog-chan and actually showing yahaba. and aoba johsai were in it so much, and i love aoba johsai. and See More hinata running into oikawa and iwaizumi/ushiwaka/aone at the bathroom and there literally being a point made about him running into important people in the bathroom before (such as kageyama and kindaichi, lev, and that guy that they played the first qualifying match against a few episodes ago). i loved how much oikawa was in it, and how iwaizumi was with him. that was just a lovely episode.
2. the ending to noragami aragoto. i must admit, i was expecting the whole 'father' thing to be explained, and for the situation with that guy hiyori knew to be tied up. but that? i honestly did not expect that. i'm really pleased with that ending. i'm probably even going to read the manga past that point (i've only read the first volume) because who knows if there'll be a series three - and if there is, it will probably be the end of next year at least.

one of the things that hit me hardest in the last episode of tokyo ghoul was when kaneki was carrying hide and the acoustic version of unravel played. unravel playing in the background (with the lyrics on-screen) was probably the one thing that could have made the whole scene sadder. and seeing the lyric 'unraveling the world' got me as well.
