Green
Cara and Milly looked up to see a neon green figure looking down at them. The figure held his hand out, gesturing for the girls to shake his hand."Humans?" He asked, his voice welcoming yet unsure, "it has been a while since a human has fallen down, a decade, perhaps." Milly nodded. The man proceeded to invite them in. Cautiously, the girls walked in, greeted by the pleasant smell of a freshly baked cake. Slightly bewildered, the man showed the children around his underground home and showed them to his dining table in which there was a huge cake on it. Carefully, he sliced the cake then gave a slice each to Milly and cara. The girls thanked him, happy to know that he was kind.
Once they had all finished their cake, the man told the girls that they could call him Green. He then took Milly and cara to a room with a dummy in it. Green politely explained that the girls' task was to talk to the dummy. Unsure, the girls stared at him blankly.
"Around here you'll come across many people like me. We are known as the colours. The colour of us represents our personalities, green means kind, red means determined, purple means perseverance, yellow means justice, Orange means bravery, light blue means patience, blue means integrity, white means... well, its meaning is yet to be discovered. We can see what colour humans would be if they weren't, well, humans. You, Milly, would be purple for perseverance, and you, cara, would be blue for integrity. Anyway, most colours have never seen humans before. They will be confused and will fight you as an act of defence. You must talk to them and convince them that you are not a threat and are in fact far from it, understand now?" Green explained patiently. He proceeded to use some form of magic to change the girls' shirts to their respective colours.
Cara smiled and then asked, "Are all of the colours named after their colour then?"
"Nope, my parents just aren't very good at naming things..."
