Fallen

Milly awoke at seven o'clock the next morning. She tapped cara on the shoulder, waking her up too. They immediately set off on their adventure. They did not worry about things most people would take with them, for surely they would find everything they needed on the way.
They decided to climb the mountain a few miles away from the orphanage. Though it was quite a small mountain, it would still be quite a challenge for their first adventure. Unsure of what was going to happen, they walked over at a steady pace. When they had finally arrived at the bottom of the mountain, they stared up in amazement, their eyes twinkling. It was like a dream. Imagine, staring up at the adventure you are going to have, being filled with determination, a desire to keep going on. Unable to wait any longer, Milly nudged cara then walked on, leaving cara still staring in amazement until she realised Milly was ahead. She quickly ran over to Milly.
They began to climb the mountain. It was steep but not too hard to climb. Of course, Milly went ahead, being the more daring one of the two girls. About half way up the mountain, cara saw a root with a hole in front, but by the time she had pointed it out, it was too late. Milly had already fallen into the abyss and without thinking, cara had run after her, falling as well.
The two girls landed next to each other, in what seemed to be some kind of underground stream. It was quite shallow, yet it still reduced the damage taken from the fall. Cars was the first to wake up. In the distance, she could make out a small cottage. She decided to head for it, dragging Milly with her, sure that somebody in there could help.
Without hesitating, she knocked on the hard, wooden door. At that moment, Milly woke up, though cara did not seem to notice. "Whos there?" Answered the door. Unsure of how to answer, cara told the voice about how they had fallen down whilst climbing a mountain. The voice repeated everything that the young girl had just said but added "who?" at the end. Milly began to laugh uncontrollably, whilst cara stared at the door, blankly. The door opened...
