Chapter Seven
Flamingpaw leaped into his warm nest, he had been working all day! His strong bones had become jelly and his belly had became hungry. After he had ate a shrew, he had felt much better. Now for sleep, sleep a nice long nap. Flamingpaw curled up in his nest waiting to fall asleep, and soon sleep grasped him and he was dreaming."Hello" a dark gray tom stepped in front of Flamingpaw. "Welcome! I'm Grayscar I want to teach you" the tom smiled a toothy grin. "Teach me what?" Flamingpaw asked with excitement. "The best training moves of course, and once we're 'done' you will be the strongest warrior!" Grayscar meowed, "also this will make you a warrior sooner!". Flamingpaw thought for a moment, did he want this?, 'yes' he answered himself. "So you'll be my dream mentor?" Flamingpaw asked. "Yes" Grayscar meowed, his eyes were starting to spark up. "Why would I say no? Sure!" Flamingpaw answered. "Then we'll meet tomorrow night" Grayscar started fading. "OK" Flamingpaw was eager to start soon.
Flamingpaw felt a paw prodding him awake, he blinked open his eyes. It was Dewpaw, she was sleeping. "Dewpaw!" he growled, the paw instantly swept way. Sleep pulled Flamingpaw back to sleep.
Flamingpaw found himself in a ragged stone area, with a tiny stream. Then voices echoed around him, "Sparrow's call will awake the robin, that kills the tiger, But a flame will scorch the lion!" The place turned red with blood, fire scorched the stones. The stream was turning into cats fighting, Flamingpaw couldn't move. "You will scorch the lion, you are the FLAME!" other voices echoed.
"A prophecy that will haunt all" was the last voice Flamingpaw heard before he woke up.
