Milea Light The Hedgehog

Chapter 2 ~ My identity

I waited in Amy's room, with a whole lot of clothes by my side. It had been half an hour since she made me try clothes. When she finally managed to decide on a pair of shorts or  a top, she change of mind after 5 seconds.

Girl : You know, I can choose by myself...
Amy : No! I love to relook people, I want to choose you clothes which are well to you! … Tell me, which is your favorite color?
Girl : Hum...

I looked at my body again.

Girl : Pink? Is that the color of my fur?
Amy : Yes...
Girl : It will be pink then!
Amy : Okay... Hum, let me see... Haha!

She took out a long pink and black dress. She went to the end of my knees.

Amy : Go put it! She will be perfect!
Girl : O-okay...

I left in the bathroom with the dress and when I returned, I was wearing it.

Amy : Wow! I love it, really!
Girl : I don't know... I don't feel well with this dress...
Amy : Stop! You'll wear it just the time to find you something which will belong to you! I admit, if you want to fight, it will not be practical...
Girl : T_T
Amy : Come on, we'll find you a name.

She opened the door and I came down the stairs quietly behind her. I was very embarrassed. Maybe that other male hedgehogs were going to see me in this dress (that I didn't like very much)? At my biggest relief, when I arrived at the living room, there was only Blaze and Cream.

Blaze : It took you a very long time, we were wondering if you've been kidnapped!
Amy : I know, sorry...
Cream : Miss Amnesia! That dress looks great on you!
Girl *blush* : Yeah... Thanks

I didn't like the dress, so compliment me while I wear it frustrated me a little. But I answered friendly, to not seem nasty.

Blaze : We should find her a name, be called ''Miss Amnesia'' don't look to be funny...
Amy : Yeah. I think we should take my book.
Blaze : Your book?

Amy brought out a big book heavy as a dictionary of one of her cupboards. On the cover page, it was roughly written "The names of the children I'll have with Sonic".

Girl : Who's Sonic?
Blaze : A very fast blue hedgehog.
Girl : ?
Blaze : You'll see him later... But Amy, why did you wrote this book?
Amy : When Sonic and I will have children, we could check in this book to find them names!
Cream : Do Mister Sonic knows it?
Amy *blush* : No...
Girl *talking to Blaze* : Are Sonic and Amy... hum... in couple?
Blaze *chuckles* : No, but Amy loves him very much!
Girl : Okay...

I looked at Amy, then at the book.

Girl : You know what? I don't want to have a name which is in this book.
Amy : Why?
Girl : I don't want that every time you call me, you think that Im your child!
Amy : Ow... Okay...

She based the book and pushed a long sigh while sitting on the couch.

Blaze : Do you have powers?
Girl : Powers?
Blaze : Or weapons...
Girl : I never use weapons, it's to violent.
Blaze : Ok, so you have powers?
Girl : I don't know...
Blaze : Try to do something with the table...

We spent hours to trying to find if I had any ''powers''. I was tired to try to raise a 50 ton rock or to try to make levitate bodies with my thought, and the girls were tired to try to find me powers.

Blaze : And if we go outside? It's quiet and fine, it will make us a break.
Cream : Okay!

I follow the girls up to the garden. It was hot but I was fine. The fresh air was giving me more energy.

Amy : What a beautiful day! The prettiest day of the summer, do you think so?
Blaze : Yeah I admit that... Huh?
Amy : What?
Blaze : Did you hear that?
Girl : Hear what?

I tightened my ear to understand better. Steps approached more and more the garden where we were. Amy took a big yellow and red hammer and advanced more and more on the noise.

Girl : What are you doing?

Suddenly, a black and red hedgehog came out of nowhere. Amy dropped her hammer and the girls took a calmer air.

Cream : Mister Shadow! You scared us!
Hedgehog : Yeah... I wanna know where is Sonic. You should know it, Amy?
Amy : No...

The hedgehog turned to me. He had a very serious face. He approached me quickly before saying :

Shadow : Who are you?
Girl : I... I... I don't know...

He looked at me surprised, then started laughing. His laughter seemed forced, which scared me.

Shadow : Don't joke...
Amy : Stop Shadow. This girl has amnesia, Silver found her unconscious near the ruins.
Shadow : Hmpf. *Turns his head to me* You don't know your past huh?
Girl : No...
Shadow : So...
Blaze : Get out Shadow, and leave her alone. We have to find her a name...
Shadow : Ok Im going *Whispers* I'll talk to you later...

He left with a green emerald in his hand by shouting : Chaos Control!

Girl : He scares me...
Amy : Don't worry! He's not so bad as you think... I guess...
Girl : T_T
Blaze : Hey! Girls!
Amy : What?
Blaze : Cream had a excellent idea.
Amy : What?
Blaze : If Silver found her in the ruins, maybe we'll find a clue...
Amy : Ok. Anyway, this is the last choice we have... You come, Miss?
Girl : Ok...

We walked for a few minutes to where I opened my eyes for the first time. As soon as I put a foot in the place, I stopped walking.

Amy : Are you okay?
Girl : That's weird ... Looks like I came here a million times ...
Amy : It's normal, you woke up here...
Girl : Yes. But Silver found me at the other side of the ruins, there.
Amy : How can you know it, you stayed there only a few minutes...
Girl : I told you! Looks like I already came ...
Amy : Weird...

I began to walk around the rocks that had served, a long time ago, to walls. When I approached the biggest rock of the ruins, a force pulled me toward it. I could not help myself, I had to go see it more closely. I heard the voice of Amy and Blaze tell me to stop, but I couldn't stop. When I got to the rock, I noticed something. Two words were engraved in the rock.
Milea Light
Intrigued, I touched the rock. The letters engraved turned pale blue and a pale blue giant light flashed in front of me. I heard a big ''BOOM'', and I closed my eyes. When I opened my eyes, the entire forest surrounding the ruins had been leveled, but the rocks were in perfect condition. I turned and I saw Amy running toward me.

Amy : Miss! Are you okay? What happened?
Girl : I... I don't know...
Blaze : There was a big explosion! It shaved at least 5 miles away!
Girl : But... But...
Amy : What happened?
Girl : I saw signs on the stone, and when I touched them, they became all blue and a blue light exploded from nowhere!

Amy, Blaze and Cream (who had just joined them) looked at me worried.

Amy : What was written on the rock?
Girl : Milea Light...

I turned my head in all directions, I was lost and panicked. Shadow and another blue hedgehog had just arrived.

Hedgehog : What has happened? There was a big explosion!
Shadow : It was felt up to the house of Sonic ...
Amy : Oh no ... Everything must be devastated now ...
Hedgehog : No.
Amy : What?
Hedgehog: Just before the explosion, a pale blue bubble has covered all the habitants of the village, all the houses and all the trees of the forest ... Only this part of the forest is hum... Destroyed.
Amy : Miss, you think it's you?
Girl : I didn't do the explosion!
Amy : No! I mean the green bubbles...
Girl : I don't know...
Blaze : Have you made a wish before hearing the sound of the explosion?
Girl : I... I just hoped to see you safe when I would wake up ...
Blaze : Humm...
Hedgehog : This explosion was too big, you could have died...

He looked at me and held out his hand. I took it and he helped me up.

Hedgehog : I guess your  the amnesiac girl Shadow told me...
Girl : Yes
Hedgehog : I'm Sonic the Hedgehog.
Girl : H-hello...

He looked at me a moment of deep air and turned his head.

Sonic: Nope! I've never seen you before.

He turned to the other before pushing a long sigh.

Sonic : We should go see if everyone is okay, we'll take care of the accident later...
Blaze : If you want.

He ran with an incredible speed. The others followed him  by walking and chatting. I watched them go away thinking that everyone had forgotten me, but Amy was behind me.

Amy : Are you coming, Milea Light?

I looked at her surprised and confused. Maybe the words written on the stone were in fact my name? This idea seemed logical. I looked at her with a smile and added :

Girl : Call me Milea
