Tormented Life

Lukas

We meet up with Shannon and Autumn back in art class.
RIIING!!!!
We all head to the cafeteria to get some food but are stopped by a tall boy.
"Autumn, I didn't see you there!" He exclaims.
"Haha it's fine Lukas, It's nice to see you!" Autumn giggles. Shannon does a kissy face whilst Autumn and Lukas aren't looking. Daniel and I look at each other and try to hide the bubble of laughter trying to escape our mouths.
"Well Fay, Daniel and I are going to go ahead, maybe you guys can, I dunno, have a chat?" Shannon says. Daniel and I agree. We follow Shannon away from Autumn and Lukas.
Once we get into the cafeteria I ask, "What's up with those two?"
"Autumn likes Lukas and Lukas likes Autumn but both are too shy to admit it," Shannon and Daniel explain at the same time.
"Jinx!" Shannon calls. We all crack up in a sea of laughter. Autumn walks in and comes over to us then sits down silently. You can tell she's been crying by all the wet mascara on her face.
"Autumn! What's wrong!?" Shannon gushes. Autumn bursts out in tears.
"Oh guys it's horrible! Lukas has to move away!!" She cries even harder. Shannon puts her hand on her shoulder.
"How about we go to the toilets to get you cleaned up," I suggest. She nods. We all stand up except Daniel. He looks left out. "Actually how about you guys go and I'll stay with Daniel," I say. They both nod and head off to the bathroom.
"Dan," he says, "Everyone calls me Dan," Suddenly I remember something. I haven't seen my mum all day. I just missed her this morning. Hopefully Dan doesn't notice my sad and worried expression. He does.
"Fay?" he questions. I shake it off. I flash a fake smile. Unfortunately, he's too good. He has a concerned look on his face.
"Ok fine, I'll tell you,"
