Chapter 3 - Into the Battle

*10 Years Later*

                The sounds of gunfire can be heard and explosions are all around me and I climb out of the rubble of a collapsed building and i look at the soldiers fighting their way through the streets, taking cover, returning fire, and pushing forward. I wiped off the blood from my bleeding forehead and I turn my ears and shake my tail and I shake off some dust from my fur and I hear Shadow over the comms. "Kesh! are you alright, please respond." He says. "yeah i'm okay just got caught under some rubble. where's the target now?" I respond. "it's a bout a click north of the bank which is near where you are." I look around and spot the back across the street and I look at my compass then I dash off in direction I need to go. "Thanks, I'm heading towards the target now have a evac ready for my mark." I say as I break the sound barrier.

        I see the target ahead of me getting into a tank and I smirk. "that tank won't help you against me." I said to myself. I leapt up as soon as i got next to the tank and I land in front of the barrel and i then leap onto it as it fired and I ran to the hatch and i open it and Shadow skates by and tosses me a grenade and i catch it and pull the pin and i drop it inside the tank and i leap off of it as it explodes and i dash back to base and i inform the commander and shadow walks up a few seconds later and we fist bump.
