Now back to more important things...The flames engulfed her and I felt the flames they flowed out of me causing my phoenix to be unleashed. I felt the heat on my head and in my heart but I remember my job. MY job to protect and defend the town from the moon curse but i can only do so much. Then the ground shook and I saw the plant root of a fae spell. Then I fixed my fiery gaze on the moon and it disappeared. The roots disappeared and I rushed toward Kala. I put my arms around her and she screamed, I jerked my hand back.
"Sssory" staring at the hand print on her shoulder. I focused and pulled my fire back in, and I picked her up and held her as she cried.
I turned to Mrs.Franks," 'm gonna take her home."
"Go ahead she needs some time."
"So bbbbright," she stuttered leaning in to me and grabbing my hand.
"Come on lets take you home."
