I'll never hurt you (Jackie X Sonic)

Jackie was running. Where to? Anywhere. Why she was running? To get away. For what? The monster she once knew as her boyfriend. She ran as fast as she could but she knew he was gaining on her.She ran round sevreal corners until her feet willed her to stop. Dead end. She turned around to see Sonic, he had a wide smirk on his face.
"I love this game of tag, really, but i'd have to say its game over" Sonic raised his hand to aim a dark ball of light towards Jackie. She shudder tears pouring down her cheaks.
"W-why?" She croaks out. He just smiles and stares straight at her.
"Becuase...I. Am. God"  The light shoots towards Jackie and covers herself knowing this was the end of her life.

Jackie sat up in bed panting and sweating, it was just a nightmare!
"Get a hold of yourself, its just a bad dream...a very, very bad dream" She whispers. She looks down at her hands. They were shaking, she felt as cold as ice but she was sweating like she lived next to the sun. Sonic mubled in his sleep and turned to her.
"...Jackie? What are you doing awake?" Jackie stiffened at his voice.
"Nothing" She looked away and found out the end of the bed was very intresting.
"Come on, whats up?" Sonic asked. He sat up and rubbed his eyes.
"You can tell me" He put a arm around her shoulders. Jackie stiffened, closed her eyes and gulped. "Jesus, are you alright?"" Tears pricked at Jackies eyes. "Jackie...your starting to scare me now, what happened? Did you have a nightmare?" Jackie nodded. "Was it really bad?" Jackie nodded again. "What was it about?" Jackie looked at Sonic and held his gaze.
"You...you killed me"

After Jackie told Sonic her dream his arm had left her shoulders. It was limply by his sie, his face was full of hurt and shock. Jackie was scared of him, he needed to put this right. Jackie on the other hand was staring out the window, she couldn't look at Sonic, all she saw was the monster in her dreams. The blue hedgehog shuffled his way towards Jackie.
"It wasn't me" he whispered.
"W-what?"
"Your dream, you said I killed you. I would never hurt you Jackie" Jackie looks at Sonic for a while.
"I know you wouldn't" she says giving him a smile.
"Good, are we going to go back to sleep?"
"Yeah, okay" they both lay down in the bad and Jackie turns to Sonic.
"Sonic?"
"Hm?"
"If that thing was not you, then will you pretect me?" Sonic chuckles and pulls Jackie into a hug. Jackie smiles and snuggles into Sonic, she closes her eyes.
"I'll never hurt you Jackie, never hurt you"
