Hello and welcome to "Family Tree". Now, before you read this horror story please take note of the following information - it's really important for you to understand this information before you continue onward (just trust me with this).

Now, as you may or may not know - this is the first story I'll be working on that is actually kind of like a "horror film" and so I'm rusty and there might not be any fright when compared to movies like It, The Grudge, etc.

Despite of this, I want you to take that into account that I'm horrible at writing horror stories because I'm a scaredy-cat when it comes to watching the actual movies. I think the best I stand at is "Friday the 13th" and "Nightmare on Elm Street" - but those really shouldn't be considered "horror", more like "comedic horror" above anything else. I hope you're not disappointed at any time in this story.

Any images (including the cover) that are used in the making of this story DO NOT BELONG TO ME! I would credit them, but I'm lazy. Their original owner's rights have been reserved.

There will be talk of violence in this story. I won't put any gore - unless you count some parts near the middle and end of this story as "gore". Violence is involved for this to be horror.

If you're sensitive to violence and it triggers painful memories, I advise you to click away because there'll be a lot of it in this story.

I advise you to take this story little by little if just words creep you out, I'm sure this story will creep me out if I hadn't created it.

Keep in mind that the main character, Alyssa Robins is mid to late teens, so between 16 to 18 years of age. Her mother is mid-30s in this story and it will remain that way.

If you want to comment and ask for a sequel or prequel then I'm glad you like the story that much. These kind of comments enlighten me because it lets me know you like my work and I might add whatever you ask.

Please come to note that all the location names and character names were made-up by my own imagination. These places don't actually exist!

Thank you for reading this and have a wonderful day!
