The meeting
I was on the other side of the street when it happened. I was getting ready to cross the street when i saw a friend of mine. She saw me, and turned to look at me. To this day, i still wish I had never seen her, because when she turned to wave at me, a hand shot out of the alley she was walking past and grabbed her. I heard a scream that made my blood run cold, and the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. At that moment, the walk signal lit up, and I ran across the street as fast as I could, but I didn't make it there in time. When I got there, I stood in the ally entry, and saw a guy.I yelled, "What are you doing", and after I said that, he let go of my friend, and when he looked up, there was blood all over his face. I walked calmly to my friend and bent down, taking her pulse. She didn't have one. I stood up to confront him.
"How much do you know?" he asked me.
"I know you just killed my friend here." I replied.
"You know too much."
"Say what, now?" He took three steps, and for every step he took forward, I took one backwards, and ended up with my back against the wall. "Crap!" He put his hands on both sides of my head and leaned forward slowly. I could have leaned away or hurt him in some way, but, for some reason, I didn't, and to this day, I still don't know why I didn't. I closed my eyes, expecting to feel fangs stab my neck, and was startled when his lips met mine. His hands traced the curves of my body, and when they got to my hips, they lifted me up against the wall. I wrapped my legs around his hips, and he rocked against me. I leaned into him and we stayed like that for a few seconds until I realized what i was doing. Making out with the guy I just saw murder my friend. Then another thought crossed my mind. I didn't even know who I was making out with. I pulled back just enough and saw that I was kissing David, who was a really cute guy from my math class that all the girls wanted. He was really tall, athletic and perfectly tanned. He had soft light brown hair and golden brown eyes that seemed to sparkle in the sun.
"David!?" I practically yelled.
"Aqua." He said with an quality in his voice that I couldn't place and made my throat go dry.
