Okay, so, the story of how I became a Mika fan is a long one. So that's why I have a whole chapter about it! Anyway, here is the story.

I was nine years old, and my dad decided we needed some new music for the car. So he went and downloaded a few random albums from the internet. One of them just happened to be Mika's second album, The Boy Who Knew Too Much.

Except I was only nine years old, and I didn't know it was an album. I just knew that it was music for the car, and it sounded good. Then one day, my dad brings the CD and puts it in the car. Then We Are Golden came on, and I thought it was the most amazing song I had ever heard.

Then I heard a few more of his songs, but I still didn't know that all the songs were by the same person. But I thought all of them were the best songs ever. I would listen to the album every day, and when I got bullied at school, I just listened to Mika and my day would be a whole lot better.

I remember the time when there was a school disco, and my parents forced me to go. I had gotten a body glitter set on the day before the disco, and I covered myself in all this golden glitter. Then when I was at the disco, they put a Mika song on and I started doing a crazy dance. Nobody would talk to me because apparently I wear too much golden glitter. I replied, "I'm golden, and I live for glitter, not you!" People thought I was crazy.

Then, as I grew older, I forgot about Mika. The downloaded album got put to the back of my drawer.

Then, when I was twelve, I was bored. So I watched one of those 'Theme Songs For Monster High Characters' videos, because sometimes I discover new favourite songs. And the video showed Popular Song for Cleo de Nile's theme song. So I listened to it, and I was like, "This is so catchy."

So I downloaded Popular Song, and I was obsessed with listening to it for a month. Then I looked at who made the song, and it said Mika and Ariana Grande. I knew who Ari was, but I had forgotten about Mika. I was like, "Mika. . .I know that name from somewhere, but I don't know where!"

Then I finally remembered. I had seen Mika's name on that old CD at the back of my drawer! So I was curious, and I put the CD in my computer. Then I listened to Mika's songs.

I listened to We Are Golden, and I was like, "Ohhh! This guy made THIS song?" Then I heard Blame It On The Girls, Rain, Love Today and a few others. I also found it really shocking that Mika made those songs, too. But I was especially shocked at Grace Kelly. I used to think that it was a really old song, but it wasn't at all!

Then I heard a voice saying, "You don't have to be evil. Reform and be who you really are. You're not evil, you're just a girl trying to be something you're not."

Then something inside me changed. I felt all the darkness and evil leave me, and I felt myself being filled with goodness and sweetness. I thought, "You know what? I don't know why I was ever evil in the first place. Why be bad when everything is so much better on the other side?"

Then when I had reformed, I decided to search Mika on Google. So I looked him up, and my first thought was, "Gosh, he's cute."

And then I became a fangirl!

The Mika fandom is mostly made up of overly shy teenage girls. In other words, people like me. The other people who I have met in the fandom have all been very nice so far.

Reasons I love Mika:

His hair. IT'S SO FLUFFY I'M GONNA DIE!!!!!
His style. I love his unique, whimsical style. It's very different from most other singers.
His sense of humour. His interviews are just so funny. Some of the stuff he says makes me laugh my head off.
His songs are just so amazing.
His beautiful falsetto voice, ahahaha.
When all the pop singers are going crazy, being horrible to their fans and copying each other, Mika stays good and unique.
He is just so cute. . .I can't even. . .Ugh, how is it possible to be that adorable? He's just so cute and sweet and innocent and I just want to cuddle him so hard and ruffle his fluffy curls and I can't. . .

Well, that was my chapter! I might add more chapters about some other music fandom's that I'm in, but I'm not sure yet. Anyway, bye for now!
