Darcy's sister

I winced as Darcy carried me into his car. The gash in my leg wasn’t bleeding anymore and the blood was clotting but it still hurt. I sat in the passenger seat and Coby and Leo got into the back. I was starting to black out. I had never been very good with blood. All I could think was where was Laura? Finally I got enough energy to say something.
“Leo, where is Laura?” I asked.
“She went home with Ryan” Leo said casually. An alarm went off in my head.
“Are you sure she should have? You know, stranger danger and all?” I said without thinking.
“I wouldn’t be worried. She’s just having some fun. She’s mature. She won’t do anything drastic” Leo said. Obviously he didn’t know about the pregnancy. Yeah, real mature, I thought to myself.
“You can’t talk. Miss stranger danger” Leo said pointing at Darcy.
I couldn’t talk. He was right. I just couldn’t help worrying about Laura.
“How you doing?” Darcy asked as we came to a red light.
“Yeah, I’m alright…” I drifted off. I felt really cold and I was shivering so violently I couldn’t speak.
“Here” Coby said from the back, holding out a blanket.
“Thanks.”
“I would put the heater on but it’s totally busted. I bought this car for cheap, but it’s a total wreck” Darcy said softly, looking over at me once in a while.
“It’s ok” I chattered.
“Here we are anyway” said Darcy pulling into a house. “Just be wary of my sister. She can be a little overbearing at times” he said helping me out of the car. Coby chuckled.
“I’m sure she’s lovely” I said.
Turns out, his sister was a 26 year old woman called Mel. She was overbearing, but she patched up my leg and so I was thankful. Darcy had lived with his sister for a year. His parents forced him to and he wasn’t complaining. That didn’t surprise me after I heard what he was about to say.
