The beginning.
"Palekit! Palekit!" Moonkit squeaked out excitedly as she ran toward the black and white she-cat, who was also her best friend of all time. She was the closest to Palekit and they never left the other's sides.Palekit looked up from the ball of moss she was staring at, flicking her ear as in 'What's up'? "Today is my ceremony! I'm gonna be a paw!" Moonkit squealed, running around in a circle and chasing her tail. Palekit giggled, nodding and meowing, "Congrats!" Moonkit stopped, staring at Palekit. "Will you be a paw too? Will we train together?!" Moonkit squealed and Palekit shrugged. "I...dunno. I'll still be with you, though! I've been...training to let others see me. I did it, too! Bluepelt saw me! But I got scared.." Palekit trailed off at the end, soaking in the memory. Moonkit and Palekit had grown a strong dislike for Bluepelt and her kit, Darkkit, who was also turning into a paw.
"Maybe I should ask!" Moonkit squeaked out, excited at the thought of her best friend training with her. "Yeah...but there's only two warriors that are able to mentor. The others either aren't old enough, cant mentor at all, or...already is mentoring." Palekit meowed sadly, her ears drooping slightly. "So? That means we have a chance of having the same mentor, Pale!" Moonkit squealed, her tail in the air happily at the simple thought of training with Palekit. "Yeah...yeah! True!" Palekit squeaked, her ears flicking in joy. "Hmm...should I go ask?"
Should Moonkit ask if Palekit can be mentored with her? Or not?
