*rukka's POV*
I leaned against a tree, finally relaxing after the chaos of the first two hours of this death game. I was the seventh contestant to be chosen, and I didn't care. I listened to my music from my headphones. despite the loud music, I heard someone or something moving behind me. I turned and saw a boy maybe a year younger than me with orange hair and orange eyes. He looked at me. "Which one are you?" I asked calmly. "Second." He replied in the same way. I had only picked a sniper rifle and throwing knives for my weapons. The only weapon I was good at was distance weapons. Then, second ran off. I grinned a little. We might be a team.
Vivid's POV*
I watched as yana sweated over the fire, cooking the deer she caught. "Do you need some help?" I asked her. She looked at me and smiled. "Sure!" She stood up and I walked over, and she let me watch the deer. Yamilette was busy finishing the cots. Suddenly, she screamed, and so did yana. I looked at them. Yami was splayed all over the cave floor, staring at a cot. Yana was flattened against the wall, staring at it as well. "What? What?" I said. They both pointed to a black thing in the cot and said at the same time, "beetle!" I facepalmed. I walked over to the cot and picked up the beetle. I threw it out of the cave. "Better?" I asked them. They both nodded, but both of them said, "I'm not sleeping there." I walked back over to the deer and saw it was cooked. I carefully took it off the fire, avoiding my hands getting burnt. "Let's save it until were really hungry. That'll save resources." Said yana. I nodded. "Sure. Let's just go to bed." We all layed on the cots of leaves and pine needles. I fell asleep, knowing I had a good team.
