the road
Every since I learn about them, I always wanted water powers so I can be like my mom (the fisherman one). I daydream and draw what my life would be as a sailor. but anyhow lets get back to the story. After breakfast, I grab my bag and raced outside. My bare feet slaps on the cobblestone path to school, usually every house had nets hanging from the roof now they laid on the ground, and silky scarfs tie to the beams of the porches. Incense sticks in little bowls sits on the windowsill. The sea breeze on my back slowly dampen my shirt. The wooden bridge slightly swayed in the wind. I looked up at my school.
My school was the biggest building in town. It has three stories , each floor has its own theme for each grade. 6th grade had First floor and deep ocean theme. 7th grade had second floor and the open sea theme. Finally 8th grade has the last floor and its has the great air theme. Though the inside had character on the inside, the outside was a simple brick design, with vines creeping down.
I started running through the hallways, I was going to be late. Finally I skidded to a halt at the final door, and rushed inside. I took my seat and started talking to my classmate, guessing each other powers, joking around and laughing at them. The teacher sat there quietly, and doing that weird thing that if their quiet we just have to be. Soon everyone was quiet and in their seat. "Now I know everyone is excited to learn their power!" The teacher said annoyingly "But this is a place of learning now turn to page 13."
