Sasha was going on a "run downtown" in Paris. She had finally saved enough money (with her dad helping of course) to go and explore Paris! It took them ten years (Sasha and Lola were now 16). They had rented a house in the city and had fun-filled memories at various places, such as the Eiffel Tower and the Grand Pier hotel. They visited many historical monuments, they definitely knew their way around, before a month had gone by, they had established their favorite diner, drug store, and jogging route. After a year they decided they liked their house's location and purchased it from the owner, making everyone happy.December arrived, and with it winter, and it sure was a bitter one. Snow fell in buckets, and the visibility was pretty much zero. So, if you can picture Sasha trying to take a 'quick run downtown' you can be positive that she ran into about ten to fifteen people. She had grown tired of trying to scream sorry over the howling wind just loud enough, so that her victims could hear, and gave up on the tenth person. That's means she didn't say sorry to the last person she ran into, the most memorable one. She was the same height, had the exact same facial features, and same hair color and skin tone. She had begun to think the subzero temperatures had begun to get to her and turned to go straight home to consult her father, Henry.
When she arrived home, her father greeted her with relief she was OK. "Father, this evening, when I went on a run, I ran into at least fifteen people!" Sasha said, adding that, "The last woman I ran into, sh- she looked like an exact replica of me! Same auburn hair, same tan skin, and same face. Almost as if she were my... twin...."
Her dad replied, "It's time for you to know the truth. Your mother and I, we loved you two. I can not express my feelings toward her now, if she is still alive. You and your identical twin, Lola Pollington, were separated at three because of your mother. That girl you saw, that must've been Lola. Your mother, Autumn, she insisted on living in Paris with Lola, even though we were falling into poverty, we (you and I) had to go find work! You loved the circus, so I thought, 'sure why not?' I am sorry I didn't tell you sooner, and we tried so hard to save up money to come back, you know that. I love you honey, please don't be mad at me."
