Sold
Fred, a brown bear Mobian who owned the diner, and had the animatronic modeled after him, paced the floor in a worry. After this incident, he decided that he had to sell his restaurant, and a possible buyer had arranged a meeting with him. However, he was still worried that they may not make the purchase.A knock on the door announced that they had arrived. Fred quickly sat at his desk; it may be harder to sell the diner off if he looked unprofessional.
"Come in," He said. A red fox with brown eyes entered. He wore simple clothing with a purple and grey scarf around his neck.
"Hello Mr. Fred," the fox began, "I'm here to talk about buying your restaurant."
'Really? I didn't know!' Fred suppressed a sarcastic comment. He gestured for the fox to have a seat.
The man sat down and continued. "My name is Hap the Fox. I would like to buy your restaurant because I love children, and, seeing how much they love your diner, I would like to continue it and make it even more fun for them." Fred listened, and no questions came to mind. He just wanted to get the transaction done and over as fast as he could. They rushed through the discussion, then Fred brought out the papers.
"Fill these out, and the diner's all yours!" Hap picked up a pen and did as he was instructed. He wrote Fred a check and, with a shake of hands, the deal was done. Fred gave out a sigh of relief as the fox left. That went was easier than he had expected.
