The Matchmaker

PARTY!

IT'S FRIDAY!(Aka Dawn's party!) I got into my awesome outfit and walked over to Dawn's house. Dawn opened the door. "You are VERY early!" She laughed. I nodded. "Do you mind helping with the decor?" She asked. "Sure!" I exclaimed. I walked inside. The decoration was amazing already! Colored streamers hang from the ceiling. There was a punch bowl and a bunch of snacks. The music was awesome. "When are the people gonna start coming?" I asked. Dawn looked at her phone time. "In about 15 minutes!" She exclaimed excitedly.

Many minutes passed and finally, we heard the doorbell. First in was Nicole Carman and her boyfriend. (YAY!) next where a bunch of girls and some guys. Finally a mob of about 20 people walked into the house. "That's alot of people!" I whispered to Dawn. "It'll be fine!" She smiled at everyone coming in. After minutes of talking, dancing, and singing the doorbell rung again. A random person opened up. "Oh... My... Gosh." Dawn said. Two good looking guys walked into the party.

The first one had brown hair and light green eyes. The second one had really dark brown hair and blue eyes. I shook Dawn's arm. "Go talk to one of them!" I pushed her towards the brown hair green eyes guy. "Hi!" Dawn said. I went back and talked with Nicole Carman a bit. Then I went to get some punch from the punch bowl. As I was filling my cup, the brown hair blue eyes backed walked straight into the table. The punch bowl turned over and spilled all over my dress. I looked at him. "You... Are so dead!" I whispered.  

"I'm so sorry!" He tried cleaning my dress with napkins, but it wasn't helpful. "Maybe it would help to WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING!" I yelled. I stormed out of the house with no one noticing. The guy followed me. "I'm sorry! I didn't see you!" He called after me, but I tuned him out and stormed into my house. Later that night, I got a text.

Unknown number: I'm sorry about the party
Lindsay: Um
Unknown number: I'm the guy who ran into the punch bowl
Lindsay: AHH
Unknown number: don't scream!
Lindsay: How did you get my number...
Unknown number: oh... Dawn gave it to me
Lindsay: -_-
