Another Request
I opened the door to a small box. It was from school. Blech. I opened it and found 3 gigantic text books. I almost screamed. I hefted them upstairs and threw them on my bed. Suddenly I had a horrifying thought. I flung open the door to my closet. "What would I wear to Dawn's party?" I searched through my drawers and all my dresses. Nothing good enough for the party. I urgently kept looking. Finally a blue dress caught my eye. It was PERFECT! I got silver shoes to go with it and a blue necklace. It was only Wednesday, but I had my outfit for Friday planned. I got back to writing posts on my blog.DAWN'S POV
I finished sending out the invites. Most of the 9th graders had been invited. I was so excited. I texted Lindsay and she is going! I bought a beautiful turquoise colored dress and matching earrings. "I am so ready for Friday!" I thought!
LINDSAY'S POV (regular pov)
I suddenly got a request on my blog:
Dear MatchMaker,
I'm the kind of guy who wouldn't usually use a blog or website like this, but I need advise! I still haven't found the right girl, and I need help. How do I ask one out? All my friends have girlfriends except me.
From, Advise Asker
It took me a while to think that one out:
Dear Advise Asker,
When you see a girl you like, go up to her and start by talking with her. Then, if you really like her, ask her for her number. It's as simple as that! They probably won't turn you down!
