The Secret

Dawn, Jerome, and Alex Serner looked troubled for the rest of the day. When I tried asking Dawn, she said "nothing." When I tried asking Jerome, he grunted and put on his headphones. I sighed, I wouldn't try asking Alex, who looked like he'd seen 50 ghosts. "Silver, do you have any idea of what's going on?" I asked my friend. "Nope... I was wondering too... Dawn, Jerome, and Alex look... Creeped out." Silver whispered. Autumn came up to us and smiled. "'Sup!?" She exclaimed. Silver sighed. "Something happened in the office. Jerome & Alex." I started. "Dawn knows about what happened too." Silver added. "Hmm... Jerome probably told her because I don't think Alex would." Autumn concluded.

The bell rang and we all had to rush to science, our first class. I saw Anastasia staring at the bulletin board in the hallway. Autumn curiously peered behind her. "Report cards are in for the first trimester." Autumn read softly. She turned and ran back towards us as Anastasia went to her cheerleader friends. "I hope I got a good grade on reading..." Silver mourned.  "Silver! All you had to do was read the tiniest book..." I exclaimed. We walked into the science room. Dawn and Jerome where still exchanging troubled looks as Alex had a weary expression. "I can probably get Dawn to tell me." Autumn whispered to Silver, who was sitting next to her. Silver nodded and turned her head to her science book.

LATER THAT DAY...

Dear Matchmaker,
There is this one boy I like. I have always secretly admired him. He's so cute and he's also quite troublesome! I don't know how to express my love! In public? In private? A whisper? A holler? Help! I need advise!

Jerome: have u heard?
Dawn: she hasn't
Jerome: should I tell her
Lindsay: YES! What is it!?
Dawn: so.. Principal Hair
Jerome: Likes..
Lindsay: why are you taking such a long time?
Dawn: ALEX SERNER!
Lindsay: cool prank bai
Jerome: NO
Lindsay: what
Dawn: it's not a prank
Jerome: really! It isn't!
Lindsay: WHAT?!
Dawn: Ikr! It's awful!
Jerome: *sigh*
Lindsay: ohmygosh!
Jerome: um.. Why isn't Bryan replying to this chat?

Lindsay: he's been sick for 2 days if ya haven't noticed

Bryan: i hate group chat. I turned on my phone and had like 30 mssges
