Date Part 2 (:(()

After a while, we sat back down on the bench and talked. "So." I said. "So." He echoed. I caught his glance and he quickly looked away. "This was fun!" I said. "Yea! We should do it some other time." Zach replied. I stood up and waved goodbye. I headed home excitedly.

NEXT SATURDAY

I was meeting up with Zach again! I was so excited! I got dressed and ran out the door. Maybe he would ask me to the dance this time. I met up with him in front of an ice cream place at 3:00. He bought me some ice cream, which was necessary in the 100° temperature. We talked and laughed until it was late and the sun was setting. We then sat down on a park bench and looked at the sun melt into the clouds as the moon came out. "This was really fun!" I exclaimed. "Yeah!" Zach laughed. Suddenly, Zach was like... Leaning in and I was too. Then he pulled back and I was confused.

"I.. I really need to tell you something." Zach said. "Yea?" I asked. "The first week I wasn't in school was because I had just moved here." He said bitterly. I was shocked. "My dad has to travel alot so we keep moving from place to place." I nodded. "I'm moving again the week after the dance." He said. "But... You've only been here for like two and a half months!" I exclaimed. "I'm sorry." He said. I nodded, knowing I wasn't gonna end up with Zach. "Bye." I said standing up.

Lindsay: it didn't work out
Dawn: :(( :(( :((
Lindsay: i know.
Dawn: i'm so sorry! :(
Lindsay: hey, it's fine.
Dawn: :) there's still gotta be someone out there!
Lindsay: no, i've just about given up!
Dawn: How could you give up on luv?
Lindsay: -_-
Dawn: I'll find you someone myself
Lindsay: NO! Don't do that!
Dawn: fine
