I was at the mall with Dawn, shopping for a dress when she gasped. "What is it?" I asked. A tall girl with light brown hair and grey eyes was walking through the mall. "Who is she?" I asked. "She is Nelly Damerson." Dawn said. I was very confused. "She's really mean, annoying, and self-centered." I cringed at that. I hated that kind of people. I pulled on Dawn's arm, dragging her into one of the shops, but Nelly had already noticed us. "OMG! Hi!" She exclaimed. I wanted to puke. "Hi." I said. "Aren't you the girls from school?" She asked. "Yes... We are." Dawn said. Nelly nodded, and for a second she looked kind if nice, but then she snapped out of it and strutted away.

We kept shopping with no success and then we finally found the perfect dresses. "I don't even know if I want to go." I said. Dawn looked shocked. "But—" She started. I shrugged. "It's not really of my interest and I have no one to go with." I said. Dawn hesitated. Then, she shrugged. We went into some other shops to get accessories. Then, I saw a familiar face. Hey Autumn!" I exclaimed. She waved. Dawn followed me as I went to greet Autumn. "This is my friend Silver!" She gestured to the girl next to her. She looked really nice. She had blonde hair, almost white. "Hi!" I said. "Hey Lindsay!" Silver replied. "Are you guys shopping for the dance too?" I asked. "Yep!" Silver exclaimed. I nodded.

"Well, it was nice running into you guys!" I exclaimed. They waved goodbye and Dawn and I made our purchases, then left. Back at home, I made a group conversation with Silver, Dawn, and Autumn:

Lindsay: Hey guys!
Silver: Hi!
Autumn: hey!
Lindsay: so, are you excited for the dance?
Autumn: Yep! I already have a date :)
Silver: me too!
Dawn: hmm? Oh me too!
Lindsay: I don't :( YET
Dawn: someone will ask you soon!
Silver: yea!
Autumn: I'm really excited.
Silver: me too!
Dawn: same here
Lindsay: well... Gtg bye
Autumn: bye
Silver: cya
