I wake up early the next morning. I check the time on my phone, and then I decide to text Ashton. Surprisingly, he replies almost instantly.

Me: Hi!
Ash: Hi, Lauren!
Me: You replied quickly! Were you up all night waiting for me to text you?? :)
Ash: Something like that ;)
Me: Haha!
Ash: So, about this Nathan guy...
Me: Please don't mention him :(
Ash: OH MY GOD I AM SO SORRY
Ash: SERIOUSLY I AM REALLY SORRY
Me: It's okay
Ash: Sorry!! You don't have to talk about it.
Me: Thanks. :)
Ash: We'll talk about something better then. What do you like?
Me: Luke! :)
Ash: Haha, of course! How long have you known Luke for?
Me: Since we were three. Fourteen years.
Ash: WHOA!! That's a long time!
Me: Yeah. :) He's the best friend I could ever ask for!
Ash: Aw, that's so sweet!

Ash: But I don't really like reading that.
Me: Aw, why?? :(
Ash: Because it makes me think that you like him.

Ash: I think I've been rejected! :P

I look at my phone and smile. Part of me is shocked that I admitted to liking Ashton back. Part of me is shocked that I actually like Ashton back. But a bigger part of me is glad that I admitted it - and that I do.
