Traeryn History (BIGASS WIP)
The main kingdom the story takes place in, a large empire of mostly humans. However, as large and strong as it is, it has had only five generations of rulers when the story starts.It was founded by a man history long forgotten, other than putting the Rowe family into power. He was at first, a good man, and wanted to just have a place those without magic to gather. Unfortunately, as his size of money, power, and land grew, so did his jealousy of those with magic. He became bloodthirsty, and started to kill magical beings. With this, his allies and power grew.
While the next generations weren’t so jealous, it still passed on. When the story starts, Christopher Rowe is in power. He isn’t as bloodthirsty as his ancestors, but still has the jealousy against those with magic. At most, it’s a felon and lifelong prison. Not a big deal.
