Species (basic/ major)

Humans:
Your standard species in every story.  They're diverse, full of life and considered the most corrupt to many.  They're best known for the ability to rule domains in whats considered the blink of an eye, and how you can never run into one that acts superior to other species.  They usually see magic as demonic, but if they dont, they become clans and hide in the safety of mountains and thick forests.  Lifespan is about 75 years, and appearances depend on location.

Elves:
These aren't your standard elves in LoTR and D&D.  Although they are similar with humans in varying appearances, they tend to be strong, bulky and dark skinned.  They're strong on the battlefield and generally hold themselves to high standards.  They tend to take place in deep forests as well, and use the inside of mountains as buildings where mines were abandoned.  Their lifespan is about 200 years.

Sirens:
Beautiful creatures that are often the scapegoats of missing ships.  Their voices beautiful can soothe and terrify anyone.  Their appearances usually are a blueish hue, with black hair that allows them to blend into the water with ease.  If on land, they usually hide in caves near the water to rest.  Lifespan unknown, at least 500 years.

Dragonlords (Thanks Kaiden)
Devoted followers of the dragons. they tend to look like humans with dragon features.  They tend to be facinated by humans, and occasionally will merge in with them.  They have dragon's blood and can speak the dragon's language.  Their lifespan is unknown, as they tend to try and be destroyed by several species.  They usually live in caves, near the forests, or in small fishing towns if they havent blended in with the humans.

Dragons:
They are either seen as feared beasts that need to be destroyed, or gods that should be worshiped.  They are not greedy and only collect gold as a means of food survival, and only attack when provoked.  They are immortal and live wherever, depending on the types of dragons.

Dwarves:
Short, strong, and the biggest navigator of the underground.  They’re known for being able to mine, but other skills include strong forgeries and good, hidden kingdoms.  Stereotypical.  Lifespan is about 100 years.

Dreamwanderers:
Otherworldly beings that walk both earth and dreams.  Eyes seem purely white and have deer antler- like structures from their heads made of fog.  Not much is known about them as they are rare.
