Car Crash
Aideen's POVMaria's quite good at driving, actually, until we got to the motorway. There were so many car's without drivers in the traffic. Others, were honking away obviously not aware the cars were empty.
"We're got going to get through here, there's another way around, right?" Sunni asks. Maria nods and begins to back up the car, before Sapphire jumps up poiting towards the mass of cars.
"MARIA, LOOK OUT!" We all turn to where she was pointing, a bright red car swerved out of the crowd. Right towards me. I caught a glimpse of the dead driver, his head lolling and his hands clenching the wheel turning when he fell to each side. The car slammed into our truck. In to me. Everything went black.
Carlos' POV
The car slammed into Aideen's and Maria's side, but mainly Aideen. He flew in the ar and landed at my feet. He had blood on his shoulder and thighs, but what was worse was his ankle twisting in the wrong direction. I choke on my gasp as I fall to my knees.
"Aid! Aideen! Come on, come on!" Everyone surrounds us as I push on his wounds to keep the blood in. I feel for a pulse...nothing. I scowl at the ground. That was the moment I believed in miracles.
Ba Boom
Ba Boom
Aideen's eye lids flicker and soon slowly open.
"Carlos?" He asks as I try not to jump up and contain my excitement. "Am I...alive?"
"Yes! You're okay!" I give him space to sit up but make sure he can. A sigh of relief flooded throughout our group. We haven't lost anyone yet, but that was too close.
