In The Mist

Back in the League of Villain’s hideout, (Y/N) is asleep.

Toga taps the girl’s shoulder, “Psst, hey, (L/N)-chan.”

The girl stirs, “Mm?”

“Are you awake enough? I mean.. for our explanation.”

The (H/C)-haired girl leans up, wiping her eyes, “I think so.”

“Tomura-kun, get in here!”

The decaying man enters the room, calmly shutting the door behind himself. He sits down on a chair in front of (Y/N), smiling. For once, it is a warm smile, full of the pleasure to be there. Unlike his other smiles that are full of the passion to kill.

“Do you remember why you are here or who you are?”

She shakes her head, “I only remember my quirk, that’s it.”

His grin seems to widen, “Well, you’re (L/N) (Y/N). You’re one of the highest-ranked members on the League of Villains. You have no siblings or parents and we found you when you were a child, abandoned on the side of the road. I’m Shigaraki Tomura, this is Toga Himiko, Dabi, Spinner, Mr. Compress and Twice.”

She smiles, leaning up, noticing the device around her neck, “What’s this?”

“Oh,” Shigaraki chuckles, “That was just a precaution. Your quirk is strong, and since your memory was lost, we were worried that you might get angry if you didn’t recognize us so we didn’t want to take any risks.”

He takes the device off her neck, placing it on a nearby table. He sits down beside (Y/N), wrapping his arm around her shoulders.

“Welcome back.”

Today is the final day, we haven’t gotten a video just yet. And honestly, I don’t think I can handle seeing (Y/N) in any more pain.

“So after this video, we’re heading after her, right?” Yayorozu asks.

I nod, “Yeah. I can’t just sit here.”

“Guys, uhh..” Kaminari catches our attention, “We have a problem.”

He turns his phone around to show us. A picture of (Y/N) before she was kidnapped, specifically when her and I kissed as she was in the ambulance towards the hospital. The headline says, “Popular up and coming hero, Genkina, kidnapped by the League of Villains. Heroes refuse to help.”

“Someone talked.” Bakugo hisses, glaring at majority of the class.

“That’s it,” I mutter, turning to my class, “We’re going after her, now.”

“But Todoroki-kun, we still don’t know where she is!” Uraraka states, “She could be anywhere .”

I sigh, “F*ck. You’re right.”

I sit back down, attempting to think. Just as I’m about to go back to the videos and try to get clues, Midoryia speaks up.

“Wait,” He says, “I think I know.”

He goes on to explain that the pro hero he was working with was watching a villain named Overhaul who recently got into contact with the League of Villains. Twice, led Overhaul to where the villains were currently at, so we can assume that they’re not too far behind.

“But we can’t be sure that she’s there,” Yayorozu says, “That easily could’ve just been a meeting place that the villains chose in case there were any leaks.”

“It’s all we’ve got to go off of,” I reply, “And I’ll do whatever I have to in order to save (Y/N)-chan.”

So later that night, without any other video being sent to my phone, we set out.

As we walk together as a class, in outfits that Yayorozu created for us, protests and screaming surround us. I glance around, pausing for a moment to see what’s going on.

“Save her!”

“The League of Villains will corrupt her, again!”

“She’s our only hope!”

They’re protesting, for (Y/N) .

“Todo-kun, come on.” Midoryia whispers, grabbing my arm.

I remember what we have to do and we continue moving. If only I could tell them that she would be safe soon. Maybe this wouldn’t be so chaotic. I watch from the sidelines as the protesters get louder and they wave their signs higher, stomping the feet to what seems to be my heartbeat.

This doesn’t feel real at all, but I know it is.

As we walk away, we hear screams. I turn for a second to see what the fuss is about. A few protesters sit on the ground as a few others stand in front of them, protecting them from tear gas. They push the cop to the ground as the gas takes over the rea. Anything else that happens is impossible to see.

Eventually, we arrive at the area that we expect (Y/N) to be hidden in. We have Hagakure and Jiro scope out the area. Jiro sticks her ear jack into the ground as we hide behind a group of crates. Hagakure sneaks straight to the door.

Jiro’s face distorts as she hears them talk. When she finally unplugs her ear jack and Hagakure comes back, she bites her lip nervously.

“I-” She takes a breath, “We’re too late. They’ve already wiped her memories. She’s one of them now. We- we can’t do anything .”

I clench my jaw, “There has to be something . She’s a hero, there’s no way she could wipe her heart’s desires from her.”

Midoryia and Bakugo nod, “I agree. We can’t just give up.”

Slowly, after convincing the rest of our class to keep moving, we surround the building and I quickly ask who is inside.

“It looks like, Dabi, Shigaraki Tomura, (L/N)-chan, Toga Himiko, and Spinner. It doesn’t seem like anyone else is there.”

“Okay then,” I reply, “Let’s go.”

Inside the facility, the League of Villains tell (Y/N) about everything that’s happened so far. They paint a picture of evil around the hero society and specifically class 1-A and their teachers.

“Really?” (Y/N) mutters, “I thought the word hero was supposed to mean brave. Someone who saves civilians over their own lives.”

“These heroes are..corrupted, you see,” Shigaraki replies, “They only care about themselves, their pride, and money.”

“And I’m guessing that the league is about “getting rid” of these false heroes?”

Dabi steps in, “Exactly.”

“How about we do some training?” Shigaraki suggests, “It’s been a while since you’ve trained with us.”

A few moments later, (Y/N) stands face to face with Dabi.

“Are you sure you want to fight me ?”

(Y/N) chuckles, “What? Are you scared to fight a girl?”

He rolls his eyes and creates a circle of fire around them. (Y/N) immediately jumps into action. She creates a thick wall of (F/C) energy and throws a piece of rock into the air to distract Dabi. He falls for it, staring at the rock as (Y/N) charges forward.

She captures his fire in a ball, throwing it back at him. He dodges with his quick reflexes, bending backwards just far enough to dodge the fireball. He attempts to counterattack by grabbing (Y/N)’s dominant arm and flipping her over himself.
She comes crashing down with a painful thud, spinning around and tripping him with her legs. She takes the chance to jump up and get on top of him. She wraps his hands in (F/C) energy to prevent him from using his quirk. She drives her knees into his thighs and uses all of her weight to hold him down.

When he attempts to struggle, she lifts her right knee and pushes it down on his chest. He coughs and struggles a few moments more before finally sighing.

“Fine, I surrender.” He mutters.

(Y/N) grins and allows Dabi to stand up again.

“Maybe she doesn’t need anymore training.”

Toga giggles, “Can I go next?”

“Sure! Come’re Toga-chan!”

The two girls stand facing each other. Toga has her knives drawn, as well as a small container to fill with (Y/N)’s blood.

She jumps forward randomly, slashing and laughing along. (Y/N) dodges her slashes and uses the techniques she’s somehow remembered despite all of her memories being wiped. She uses energy to grab Toga’s arm, whipping her around onto her backside. She grunts and attempts to slash at (Y/N)’s legs. The woman instead covers Toga’s knife in kinetic energy and throws it away. She flips Toga on her stomach and pins her arms and legs behind her with energy.

“Dammit, it seems that our (Y/N)-chan is too strong for her own good.”

The (E/C)-eyed woman chuckles, helping her friend up.

“I knew when we first brought you to the League of Villains that’d be a good idea.” Shigaraki states, “We’re glad to have you, (Y/N).”

“Somehow, I doubt that.”

The League of Villains turn to see Midoryia, Kaminari and Bakugo.
