Dissaperance
As I meandered towards the tower I decide to take a scenic tour of the city to see what has changed. The market place is bigger, and the temple is more crowded than ever, but all in all, it is the same. I see the tower ahead and stop myself in awe and amazement, and as I stare at it a apprentice comes over and taps me on the shoulder, "Are you Natasha Ninelives?" "Aye, are you here to guide me around the tower?" I ask him, he looks edgy, like something is after him, He looks around and shuffles his feet, "No, I am here to show you the basics of sorcery, and to make sure you don't melt the tower. Let us be off" And he scurried off to the tower without another word.As I walk in I feel the tell tale tingling feeling of a magic portal, and it is bigger on the inside, on the outside it looks thin and tall, while the inside is wide and I can see multiple planets outside the windows, and I feel at home here.
I trained with magic every day, with the apprentice whom I learned was called Galen, and learnt how to control my magic and my draconic abilities. I had been there for what seemed to be by my count 3 months, by then my training as an acolyte was complete and my days of an apprentice were completely turned around when the arch-mage went missing from the tower.
The days flew by, mages using all sorts of divination spells to try find him, sending out planar scouts of both angels and demons alike. I could not do much around the tower. During the chaos I heard that Lunaris had fell from the rising tide, and as I listened to the news, I new, deep within my soul Solaris was next, and that it would need to prepare for the devastation.
I started my training with the militia again, gaining the form I once had in my youth. I pushed myself to the best of my abilities in the morning with weapons and light armour, while making sure I practiced my magic in the evening. I would be ready for when they come, but I will need a team, a party, a friend.
