People Obsessing with My Little Pony {MLP}

Now, My Little Pony is yes a cute little show about ponies. Cool, fine by me. But the thing that bothers me and mostly alot of these topics that makes me dislike them is the fact that people obsess over things.
The thing that I dislike about the people who obsess over My Little Pony is the fact that they're the ages of nine and up. I could understand if like lets say alot of three year olds obsessed over it. That would be a different story. Because the show and whole franchise was intended for a young audience. That is why the show is called "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic". So therefore, if I was a parent of a young daughter, I would suggest that the child watches the show, because of the title, I assume that it is about learning about friendship.
I will admit, a few things though;
-Some that I know of obsess over it and understand that others may dislike it, and will only speak of it at appropriate times.
-I have never watched the show.
-We all have opinions and the right to obsess over whatever we wish.
-I sometimes seeing a young childhood thing in the store and will have that little squeel being like "OmiGod!" I used to love this!"

Anywho that's my rant, there will be more chapters of my rants in the future.
