Chapter 8 - Getting to know each other

                *Present day*

                I lean on the counter and Ziana and Luna chat and I hear Skylar yawn in her room. I walk to her door and knock on the door. "Come in." Skylar yelled through the door. I open the door and sway my tail and walk into the room. "Close the door please." Skylar says still in the bed. I do as she asked and sit down in a chair. "Hi." I said with a smile. "Hi." she said back. I smile and move my tail over my shoulder and I notice her watching it in curiosity. "See something you like?" I asked. "Does your tail move on it's own or can you tell it what to do?" she asked curiously. I chuckled and said "Both.".

                Skylar tilted her head in confusion and I smiled and said "It acts as a balance but I can move it freely like so." I move my tail around like I said. She nodded and smiled. "May I?" She asked. "May you what?" I asked in confusion. She blushed and asked "M-May I pet your tail?". I smiled and got up and sat on her bed and laid my tail next you her and said "I don't mind.". She smiled and started to pet my tail and I smiled back.

                Skylar scooted closer to me and laid my tail on her lap and she continued to pet it and then She leans her head on my shoulder and then Luna bursts into the room. "Amaze! We have a problem in Holoska!" I look at Skylar and sigh then I stand up and walk to the door. "I'll be back soon" I said then winked to Skylar. I dash off out the door and after a few hours i'm running through the cool, crisp, air of Holoska.
