A Little Help, a Little Relief, a lot of Danger
"Get up, we leave in ten minutes!" Comes a frantic voice.
"Huh?" I question tiredly. "Leave where?"
'Come on Stephania, I woke up three hours ago with no trouble what-so-ever!" My eyes focus on the person towering above me. I see wings trailing on the ground, lined with silver and gold. My eyes widen. I immediately on my feet.
"S-sorry!" I stammer. I can't believe I forgot. Wait, did he say we leave? Should it not be I leave? "Do I go now?" I ask.
"Whoa, calm down, first of all, we leave in ten, second, I have to come to see this Dark Angel, council's orders," This Dark Angel on first day thing must be really serious.
"Okay,"
Eli repeatedly checks his watch. Waiting for the time.
"Okay, It's time," He tells me. I nod. "Oh and by the way, the rules don't count when we're down, so sorry if I smile too much, I haven't been able to for so long!" I'm about to remind him about the two times he smiled at me but my words are interrupted. Eli clutches my wrist hard as the white and golden light dances around us, he wears a straight and confident face. A face that reads 'Let's do this'.
The light fades and my surroundings appear. I'm in the school corridor, luckily it's the one nobody uses. Eli stands in front of me. My eyes widen. It's so strange seeing him without wings. I guess I look different too. I place my left hand on my glasses. Eli turns around, a smile from ear to ear. Then he looks at me strangely.
"Stephania? Is that you?" He asks. I slip my glasses off, my surrounding nebulous. "Oh," I quickly put my glasses back on.
"You look different yourself," I say.
"Yeah, no wings," I nod.
