Broken casita

I'm gonna skip a lil bit because i wanna start going into carmens side of the story so mirabel did all the things she needed to do already.

Carmen turned into a rat and made her way to bruno only for casitas walls to start cracking and she quickly jumped into his arms scared. "Bruno!" She said and squeaked. Bruno was shocked and he held her close as he grabbed the rest of his rats his bucket head and quickly busted out of casita. Carmen started feeling weak and was forced to turn back to normal, which caught bruno off guard and he dropped her.

"The....miracle...." Carmen said weakly. Bruno held his best friend close not wanting to lose her "no carmen stay strong I can't lose you!" He said trying so bad not to tear up. Carmen slightly smiled and crawled as best as she could to the others "find mirabel.... When she runs off...." Carmen said still making her way over. By the time carmen made her way over, casita was broken, the madrigal family was homeless now.

Camilo looked at carmen laying on the ground and gasped "carmen!!" He quickly made his way towards her and picked her lifeless body up. Felix, pepa, dolores and Antonio gasped and quickly went over trying to wake carmen up but nothing happened. Dolores then remembered hearing carmen say she was connected to the candle in some way and told her family. They all felt bad but camilo refused to believe she was dead.

"No she's still alive... She has to be!" He kept saying. "Camilo... She's gone...." Felix said and hugged his son. Julieta then began panicking "where's mirabel?" She asked and everyone started looking, Antonio getting really worried about his cousin. After some time, mirabel came back with alma and Bruno and they all gasped when they saw Carmen's lifeless body in camilos arms. All of a sudden, Carmen's eyes began to flutter open slowly and she looked around seeing everyone sad. "Why is everyone so sad?" She asked.

"Carmen!!!" Everyone was relieved to know she was alright. "Don't ever do that again!" Bruno said making carmen rub her head and then she realized everyone thought she was dead. "Sorry...." She said and became nervous. Agustin and julieta hugged their daughter, mirabel looked at him concerned "there were a lot of bees I'll be ok" he said. "Not if we don't have a house" camilo said and his father nudged him. "What I can't say we don't have a house? What is that? Not a house!" He said pointing to the broken casita and carmen snickered at camilos bickering. The triplets hugged.

"So... We gonna talk about bruno?" Camilo sang "that's bruno?" Antonio asked smirking even tho he knew it was Bruno. "Yea there's a lot to say about bruno... I'll start, okay! Pepa I'm sorry bout your wedding, didn't mean to be upsetting, that wasn't a prophecy i could just see you were sweating and i wanted you to know that your bro loves you so let it in, let it out, let it rain, let it snow, let goooo" bruno sang and carmen snickered "Bruno's having an elsa moment" carmen joked causing camilo to start laughing and bruno looked at carmen like 'wtf?'(ik elsa probably didn't exist in this but just role with it i had to make a joke).

Suddenly the whole town appeared and helped the madrigals to rebuild their home. Once it was done, mirabel put the handle on the door and everything was back to normal, casita was alive again and Casita shoved everyone inside, shoved them all together for a group photo and a rat took the picture. Carmen giggled once the picture was over and turned to mirabel "i think it's time i revealed.... The reason you didn't get a gift mirabel... Is basically because... I believe you're the next candle holder.... Your abeula alma herself doesn't have a gift yet she holds the candle" carmen said and everyone's jaw dropped.

"Wait really?" Mirabel was shocked and carmen nodded. "Alma may have lost sight of what the candle was really for but when you didn't get a gift it basically meant you were the next one to take care of the candle and you mirabel have proven more than enough that you are worthy of being a candle holder." Carmen smiled. Carmens hand began to glow as a candle started appearing in her hand. "I carmen candella, give mirabel madrigal this candle to uphold the miracle once given to the madrigal family, to keep their powers growing, to help the townsfolk and to never lose sight of what's really important". Carmen stated and the candle glowed brighter with each statement until it looked exactly like the last miracle candle.

Mirabel became excited and smiled "this is what you meant when we were young?" Mirabel asked. "Yes it is... Do you accept the candle and the responsibilities you will now hold in order to protect it?" "Yes i do" mirabel said carefully taking the candle from carmen. Carmen smiled "then i give this miracle to the madrigal family! Its flame will never go out unless of course an incident happens again, but know that i am still connected to this candle and can feel when it loses its power... I can basically have any abilities but when another madrigal child gets their gift i lose that ability and it is passed onto the child that now has the gift." carmen said and mirabel nodded.

"Good! Now let's celebrate!" Carmen looked at camilo smiling and twirled herself towards him. He caught her in his arms and smiled brightly as he dipped her down and kissed her. "I love you too... Mi amor~" camilo finally said after pulling away making carmen smile sweetly. Carmen suddenly felt uncomfortable, she felt as if someone was watching her every move.
