Chapter 11- Jessica Holister's POV
I instantly regretted my decision when I heard sirens passing bye. My hand instantly went up to cover my left ear, wincing. 5 tones, one from the vibration of the speaker, 2 from the sirens themselves, and the other from inside the car.Joanna noticed my hand, and furrowed her brow in confusion. My hand lowered and I smiled a bit, but another one came, making my hand shoot back up. Too much noise.
I started walking, biting my tounge. Joanna followed, seeming slightly concerned. "Are you alright?" She asked, going up next to me. I only nodded, kind of ashamed of why.
"So.... what's your taste in coffee?" I asked, once we got into the city. I never knew how to start up conversations, so it was really awkward for me, and probably both of us.
"You can't tell?" She asked, looking at me.
"Ok. You're probably a fan of Starbucks and enjoy a vanilla bean frappachino." I guessed.
"Shit, you're right." Joanna growled. "Anyway's, what's yours?" She asked.
"Honestly? The same thing." I muttered.
We looked at eachother in disbelief and she laughed a bit.
"Anyway, becides working and playing cello.. what exactly are your into?"
I tilted my head. "What I'm into?"
She nodded. "Yeah! Intrests and such."
I started thinking, looking around. I started panicking, realizing that I've really never been free and never really done anything I wanted. Whoops.
"Wait, please tell me you don't have anything you're into!" She snapped.
"Actually, I'm not sure what I'm into.."
This is gonna be terrifying.

My only concern with this story is the amount of space between sentences. I understand if this is your normal style, but...
I feel like nothing is organised into paragraphs that flow one after the other.
I like stories where the time flows on, and it's shown in the paragraph spacing. Books like See More the Percy Jackson series flow really well (no pun intended).
