Mind Games
Sesa smiled at Elise. He had been on her good side so far, and he didnt want to screw that up.
"Sesa, I want to play Monopoly!" She says childishly, jumping at him from behind. "Now!"
He laughs, then states, "Actually, lets play a game of hide-and-seek." He smiles, letting her know that he wanted to do this whole-heartedly.
She smiles, then says, "Ok! But you hide first! Im really good at finding people."
He laughs, pats her head, then leaves the room as she counts to a thousand.
He frowns.
She was insane.
He needed to know why.
He checked out the hallway, seeing that it was obviously an old motel. What floor, he couldnt say.
"Ok, Sesa." He says to himself, sneaking around to the door directly across from him, "Lets see how insane she really is."
He slowly opens the door, the hinges squeeking. Opening the door, his jaw drops when he sees her dimly-lit room.
Filled with pictures of him.
In the Millions.
"Oh my fūcking God..." he says, slowly walking in and stepping on pictures of him as a child. It was obvious she had put brick and mortar on the windows, and she had done a good job, too. Elise had, apparently, been following him longer than a year. In fact, it seems she had been following him all his life.
He walks, slowly as to not give a clue that he was there, to the closet.
Something told him to open it. To see what was inside.
His hand hovered above the closet door knob. He gulped, then took a deep breath as he opened it, seeing a shrine.
To him.
"What the.. How..."
He bent on one knee, then flicked his lighter, casting a light around him by the flame.
What he saw next really made him freak out.
There was a baby tooth, a rusty knife, another picture, and a lock of hair with hundreds of love letters dedicated to him.
"This shits creepy as hell!" He whispered, trying to keep control of his frantic mind.
The door squeeked, and he immediately jumps in the closet, knocking the shrine over and slyly closing the door.
He heard her walk slowly in the room, then stop. She was muttering to herself, and he heard her sit down on the only other piece of furnature in the room.
"Sesa is mine now. Mine mine mine. He's mine now, Mommy. He's mine now, Daddy. Mine all mine..." she hardly whispered, hearing her rock back and forth on the matress on the floor.
He held his hand over his mouth, trying not to scream.
She was insane, all right.
Poor Elise...
She hitches her breath, then starts sniffling and laughing.
"Mommy, Sesa is so nice to me, unlike how you were." She says, catching his attention.
What was she talking about?
She laughed while crying, "And Daddy, he loves me, unlike you! He treats me like a queen, he talks to me like Im human..."
She gets quiet for a moment, then startles him by screeching out, "Unlike you, you worthless, sorry, pitiful excuses of meat! Thank you for locking me downstairs with the skeletons and rats, Mommy! Thanks for beating me sensless and telling me Im nothing, Daddy! I hate you both so much!" She laughs insanely, then cries and hiccups. "He was always there for me, unlike you! He loves me, unlike you! I hope youre both burning in Hell now! I hope you-! You...!" She cries heavily, then sniffles, suddenly happy again. "Well, Id better go get him. Its tea time!" She says happily, stopping in front of the closet.
Sesa nearly shit himself when she opened the door.
Elise didnt move.
She didnt even seem to see him.
"Sesa, what are you doing in my room?" She asks monotonously, sitting on her knees and looking him dead in the eye. "Dont you know a girls room is sacred? Just like a shrine."
"E-elise I...! I didnt..-!"
She kissed him gently, still staring at him in a thousand mile stare.
"Dont be afraid." She said, picking up the rusty knife and smiling sweetly. "It wont hurt too much."
She adds as she injects his leg with a syring filled with a clear liquid.
His vision went blurry, amd the last thing he heard before he passed out was, "Sesa, Sesa, Knocking at the door, Sesa, Sesa, Worry no more."

That means a lot.
(No death. Just romance)
(Purely romance...)
Maybe next time Ill just do a purely romance story...
Now, it all depends on one of two things:
You can reject them, and eventually become like them
Or
You can embrace them, and eventually fight them off.
