Surprise!

The idea

“Amy, Arie. I’m going to lie down for a bit okay? Try to be quiet, my head hurts.” Their mom said. “Okay!” The kids said. After awhile of watching tv and being quiet Amy gasped and said to her little brother “ I have an idea! Let’s make Mommy her melty chocolate! It’ll make her head better!” “Ya!” Arie said excitedly. They jumped up off the couch and hurried to the kitchen. “You
get the chocolate chips and the other chips too and I’ll get the bowl.” Amy said. She jumped up on the counter and got to the bowls. “What color, Arie?” “Green!” She grabbed the green bowl and helped Arie with the chips. They put their green bowl with chocolate and butterscotch chips in it in the microwave and set it to a minute. “Okay, now get the oven thingy.” Arie ran to get the oven mitt. The microwave beeped. Amy used the oven mitt to take the bowl out. “It’s not melted yet!” She exclaimed. She put it back in. They kept doing this for two more times and then Arie said, “ This is boring!” Amy said “ You’re right.” Set the microwave to an hour and went to watch their favorite show.
