A spark in her eye.
He waited until nightfall, when the goblins are most active, for the sun hurt their eyes and maid them less effective. The noises of night time put him on edge, his keen elvish senses on high alert. The smell of smoke arises, and a light burns on the forest edge. Cackles and the evil laughs of goblins spreads through the night. Rathashan stood, brass eyes shining in the moonlight. "And so, the fun begins" He lets out a small chuckle, and sprints out towards the lights of the flaming torches. Screams of the woodland critters echo through the forest, as there homes are burnt and kin killed. Rathashan, sprinting towards the burning grove of trees cast a quick spell upon himself to shield him for a time. Then a new noise breached the night air, the battle cry of the forests defender, the keeper of the trees and lady of the wild. Rathashan pushed himself to his the fastest speed his legs could manage, and by the time he arrived, the battle was in full swing, the goblins swinging their torches like clubs and setting all they can on fire, while the lady of the forest slashed at them with her scimitar, while her companion, an owl, swooped down, clawing the melon sized heads of the goblins.
"Looks like I got here just in time." Grinning, he leaped into the fray, using the goblins own flames against them. At first he swarmed the flames into a ball then quickly morphed it into a serpent of flame and smoke. It struck quickly, biting off heads and tearing the bodies, but also being guided not to hurt the forest as little as it could. Left to its devices, the goblins were quickly annihilated. Rathashan nodded to the serpent, and it faded into smoke. Rathashan turned to face the druid, a smirk on his face "You're we- WOAH!" He cried, crashing to the ground as the wild one jumped on him, battle still in her blood and a spark in her eye.
