Lila is a 12 year old girl who has always been able to talk to ghost. her mom died when Lila was born so she was stuck with her drunk dad. now the most people she talks to are the ones not even alive.

I sit in my chair next to Jackson. Our teacher Mr. Anderson was writing something on the board.
"What is the first ten numbers of pi?" he asked I rise me hand. "yes ms. Lila"
"3.141,that's all i know" i say
"that's good enough i guess" he says
"592653" i voice said
"Beth?" i whisper
"yes it's me and the remaining numbers are 59653"
"oh" i raise my hand
"yes Lila?" Mr. Anderson says
"are the remaining numbers 592653?" i ask
"yes that is correct" he smiles
"thanks" i whisper to Beth
"what?" Jackson whispers to me
"oh nothing" i turn my attention back to Mr. Anderson
