Revealing the Portrait
I was antsy for breakfast to finish. Gosh, when would we be done? It seemed we were sitting there for an eternity. Finally, everyone finished. I excuse myself from the table and walked towards the door. After opening, then closing the door, I bolted down the hallway. I need to see what was underneath that tapestry. I couldn't explain it, but somehow, it felt important.
Soon, I reached the portrait room. Slowly, I opened the door and searched for that particular picture.
There it was, still covered by the beautifully designed tapestry. I walked towards it, taking my time.
Why did this feel so important to me? It wasn't like me to feel so curious but cautious at the same time...maybe I truly had been here before. But how was I supposed to remember? I did not remember many things from my childhood.
I reached the tapestry at last. I paused for a second. Something felt off...
I shrugged it off and reached towards the picture with one hand. I felt my fingers curl against the cool and oddly hard tapestry.
This was it. I was finally going to see what was behind that tapestry.
Taking a deep breath, I pulled the heavy material off the portrait.
I gasped, seeing what was underneath.
It was a painting of my mom.

It doesn't matter how many people read it, my own story doesn't get noticed yet I love writing more, and seeing my very few readers happy
Can I give you some advice? I feel that the bully is a little cliche, an interesting backstory would be cool
This is a lovely story, please keep writing!
I do have a backstory, I just don't know if I want to put it in here...maybe I'll make a separate story for Zoe. So everyone can understand why she's the way she is.
Yes, writing is wonderful! And it feels so nice when people read.
I forgot to comment on your wolf story, but it was really good! I enjoyed it a lot! @Eeveewarrior
I will try to post A.S.A.P.
