The Master

I gasped.

"You're the thing that lead me here!" I accused, pointing at the butterfly.

"Who, my master?" Kim asked.

"That's your master?" Cairo was astonished, "That tiny insect?"

"He's not in his true form right now," Kim looked offended, "just wait."

The butterfly settled onto a tall toadstool in front of me. Suddenly, where the butterfly had been, there now sat a teenage boy. He had black hair and looked about my age.

"Hello, Giselle," he said.

I glanced at him in disbelief.

"Who are you?" I asked, "And how do you know my name?"

"Don't you remember me?" he raised an eyebrow, "I was your only childhood friend."

"I didn't have any friends when I was younger," I snapped.

"Oh, really?"

"Giselle, who is this guy?" Cairo asked, suspicious.

"I don't know," I said slowly.

But then, I started to remember.

"You're- you're-"

The boy nodded.

I gasped. It couldn't be true.

But I remembered the name crystal clear.
