And.......the boys
When I woke up, it was morning, like always. I looked around for Remus, but he was nowhere in sight. I slipped on my change of black leggins, a grey t-shirt, and a blue button-up. As I walked down the stairs, I heard muffled voices and went towards them. There, in one of the rooms, were the Marauders. As I walked into the room, they all looked up at me, and Remus smiled. The others, however, weren’t so happy.“What’re you doing here, Lawson?” James snapped. Sirius stood up and started towards me, but Remus jumped up and held him back.
“She’s alright!” he exclaimed. He looked over at me. “She’s like me.” James looked between me and Remus.
“She’s a…” He trailed off, and Remus nodded, and I smiled shyly.

As I walked in the doors to the castle with the boys, minus Peter, who had slipped off to… something, Orla ran up to me.
“Where’ve you been?” she exclaimed. “You never came back to the dormitory last night, and we were worried!” I looked at the boys and nodded for them to go ahead to the Great Hall before looking back at Orla. After trying to think of something to say, I simply jerked my head to the side, motioning for her to follow me as I walked away. Once on the stairs of the tower, I turned and sat on one of the steps. She sat beside me.
“Okay,” she said. “Now where were you?” I sighed.
“I…” I still couldn’t think of anything. Orla placed a hand on my shoulder, and I flinched. My shoulder still hurt from that night ten years ago. “I can’t think of anything, so if I tell you, you have to promise two things. You can’t get mad, and you can’t tell anyone.”
“I’m still stuck on the fact that you can’t think of anything to say,” she said, “but okay.” I let out a shaky breath.
“I’m… I’m… different,” I said. I imagined kicking myself. “Ten years ago, two days ago, my family died. They were killed by Fenrir Greyback. When he killed them, I thought he was gonna kill me.” I looked at the stairs. “I almost wish he had.” A tear slipped down my cheek. “He turned me into him.” Orla wrapped her arm around my shoulders, and I flinched away, my shoulder throbbing.
“Is that…” She didn’t have to finish. I knew what she meant, and I nodded. “It still hurts?” I nodded.
“Every day.”
