POV: Azai (3)

        Seeing that little girl being taken -- killed, made me want to find this monster even more than before, and this was on my watch. I took my sister on this rollercoaster with me. I wish I made her stay home. I wish I snuck out while she slept. I wish I didn't put her in danger like this. If she gets hurt, like the little girl -- I don't know. I can't think about this! I have a monster to defeat!

        After about six hours of walking. We finally get there. The pit surrounding the cave. The pit is like a crater made by a meteor and there were claw marks all around the outside of it. The bottom was stained with blood, but not very much, since the last rain was only a couple days ago. The cave was at the bottom of the pit, embedded into the wall, stretching far into the mountain. The little girl's body was nowhere in sight. Maybe he already -- no. Game face. Come on Azai. You can do this.

I slid down the wall of the pit, using the claw marks as grip. Zara stayed on the edge of the pit, waiting for me, staying out of my way.
