Lunch
Rose fixed the knife in her boot. She sat down in front of EJ, and a completely empty table. "EJ, don't you dare even touch the jelly beans." She growled under her breath. She tried to stay calm, but she laughed a little EJ smiled. "Yes, ma'am." She smiled, and took out her sandwhich. To tell the truth, it was made of flesh on the inside, but it looked like ham, so that's what it was. She tore off a piece, and handed it to EJ. "Flesh. Shh." EJ ate it. "You can bring that, but I can't bring my kidneys?" He whispered. She nodded. "It's hard to explain bloody organs to humans. Bring flesh." He nodded. "You win. I can't really argue." She nodded, and smiled. "Don't I always?" EJ smirked. "Sure."Rose smiled. "Anyway, father wants us to stay for another day, and that's what we're going to do. But we can't come home." EJ looked curious. "Why not?" She looked at him. "Really?" He blushed. "Right. But we can't go to far." He whispered. She nodded. "School days suck." He nodded. "You're telling me. I haven't been to school in who knows how long." Rose looked down, and blushed. "I haven't taught you anything?" EJ didn't say anything. She smiled. "Told ya."
Recess was next, and Sydney immediately came to Rose and EJ. "Hey guys! Jordan we have to catch up. And I have to talk to your boyfriend. He's so cute." She turned, and saw the boys from gym class coming. Rose smiled. "We'll catch up. Go ahead. Promise." Sydney ran off. Rose faced the boys. "Let's have your friend take his mask off. You won't do anything, will ya. And we have a half hour to do so." EJ went for his knife. Rose stopped him. "We talked about this." He nodded, and relaxed.
Jordan moved forward. "No. You won't come anywhere near him. I'll make sure of that." The leader smiled. "And how are you going to stop us?" He tried to slap her, but she grabbed his hand an inch away from her face. "Like this." She kicked him toward a tree. "Anyone else?" EJ smiled, and got into a defensive position. The two other boys went for Rose, but she kicked one, and he landed in the sand. The other one dodged her, and kicked her on top of the other boy. The leader came over, and grabbed her back.
He slapped her, but she didn't say anything. The boy scowled. "Scream. I want to hear you scream in pain." EJ used Rose's technique to lock one of the boys out, and before the leader could react, Rose pushed him into EJ, who stabbed him. Rose pushed him off. "I said no stabbing. Now you have blood on your shirt. Crud." She thought grabbed a pice of paper from her bag, and got the blood off. "Leave them. We have to catch up with Sydney." They did, and at the end, they had fun. Especially Rose.
