Playing in Minecraft: Noob to Pro

Enchanting.

I read somewhere that you can enchant weapons like swords so they can be upgraded and the way to do that is by using enchantment tables. I thought of making some so I went back into Minecraft and first gathered lots of cows and bred them together. Then I killed them all for leather. Then, I collected some sugar canes and made a book. After that, I started mining for iron with my cobblestone pickaxe and collected some ignots, cobblestone and coal(because I ran out.) Then, I went back down the mine and got a bunch of buckets and filled them with water. Then I made a boat and started searching for a cave and wasted 20 minutes until I realized, I already found some! I went back to the place I started and opened the hole where I heard the bubbling. Then I made a medium hole and poured water onto the lava. Then I mined all the obsidian. You guys are probarbly wondering why I don't just destroy my nether portal. It's actually because I'm doing all these enchantments because I still want to go into the nether. Then I made some iron pickaxes and iron swords plus armor. Then I went down into my mine I made and searched for diamonds. Two eternity's later...I finally found some diamonds! I brought them back to the top and made a enchantment table! Then, I went and found an ravine and made a boat. then I jumped down and went back up until I saw some lapis. I mined them all. Then, I went back up and enchanted my weapons and armor. Finally, I slept.
