Chapter 7
Later that night, I was stood in the park waiting for Mica. The air was cold, and I was wearing a big navy blue coat.I saw him come up the road, and I rushed down to meet him.
"Hi!" I said.
"Hi." Mica replied.
We walked to the swings, and we sat down on them.
"Mica?" I said.
"Yes, Victoria?" he answered.
"How did you end up at my school?" I wanted to know.
Mica froze for a second.
"What?" he said.
"Why did you join my school?" I asked him.
"Well, I was horribly bullied at my last school." Mica confessed.
"Oh, no! That's awful." I said.
"Yes, it was. People used to throw Coca Cola cans at me as I walked to school." he told me.
"I'm so sorry." I said.
"It's okay." he said softly.
