Chapter 14
When the lesson is over, I wait for him to come out of the classroom. When he walks out, he looks so upset and hurt, and he looks like he's about to cry. I immediately put my arms around him and hug him."I am so, so, sorry, Mica. I should have helped you and told the teacher why you couldn't do the work, but I was stupid and didn't speak as usual." I say, about to cry too.
Mica looks at me, and bursts into tears.
"It's not your fault. It's my fault. I should have told the teacher myself, because I knew that you aren't able to tell her. I'm sorry." he says, tears dripping down his face.
I started crying too. I had never seen him cry before, and I didn't want him to be upset.
"Oh, no. Now you're crying too. Please don't be upset." Mica says, holding me close.
I wipe a tear away from my eye, and I smile slightly. Mica dries his eyes and smiles back. Then he leans in and kisses me, and I feel light-headed again, just like the time when he kissed me in the park.
"I love you." he says after the kiss ends.
"I love you too." I smile.
"Shall we go now?" Mica asks me.
"Sure." I say.
