Warrior: The Rising

War

The Com-Officer heard something, calling his seargent over.

"Sir, they appear to be radio transmitions." He says, handing the comm unit to him.
The American officer listens, then yells, "Get me the Pentagon!!! Stat!!!"

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

"The 'Pentagon' has confirmed that there is a hostile force heading to the planet Earth, sir." The Captain said to the Presedent, dread in his voice.

The Presedent thought on this hard.
"Get me the E.U.F. commander. Tell him to gather his forces and engage the enemy. We must protect the planets citizens!"

"Commander Washington, the Presedent says to engage, sir."
The Captain squints his eyes at the oncoming enemy fleet.
"Engage on my mark." He says, drawing his ancestors sword. It was from the American Revolution, the same one his ancestor, George Washington, used in the war.

Now, this antique weapon would see battle once more.

"Engage!" He says, seeing the laser turrets hammer at the enemy warships.
The enemy hammered back, blowing apart an asteroid belt.
"Fire the Ion beam." Comm. Washington commanded, seeing the green-colored beam light up from the weapon.
"25% charged... 67%... 75%.... Prepared to engage, sir!" The young turret gunner said, firing the weapon and hitting the giant warship.

"What the..?!" Comm. Washington swore. "Revert main power to-"
The enemy warship fired at last, blasting through the commanders fleet like a shotgun through a paper cup.
"Shit! Send the Hornets in and tell them to knock out that damn Photon canon!"

The enemy Photon canon charged again, this time attacked by by the American starships.
Thats when the warship opened its hanger and unleashed its millions of drone fighters.

"Sir, their not heading for us! Their-"
"Heading for Earth." The commander finished, sending an emergency signal to the ground forces on Earth.

"This is King Fisher to Alpha Wolf! I have a boggey on my tail and I cant shake him!" The pilot says, blasting an enemy out of the sky while dodging an enemy's missles.

"King Fisher, this is Alpha Wolf! I got your six!" The other replies, blasting the enemy down and saving his friend.
"Thanks, Kuto! I owe ya."
"Just thank me by being my best man, Kota!" Kuto replies, saoring his American-made F-20E Striker Eagle against the sea.
"Anything for you, you handsome son of a bitch!" Kota replies, blasting the enemy following his wing-man.

A phaser hit Kuto's jet, catching it on fire and causing it to crash in the ocean.
"Kuto!!!" Kota yelled, putting his fighter in hover over where his fiancé was shot down. "Dont worry, man!" He added, throwing off his pilot gear, "I got ya!"

He jumped into the raoring sea, narrowly avoiding an enemy ship blowing his fighter to bits as it roared by.

Damn! He thought, diving for his friend, I really liked that bird, too!
They resurfaced, gasping for air. Half of Kuto's face was burned and the other half was as grey as ash, and he was barely concious.

Kota looked around, then saw the lights of Tokyo.
"Dont worry, bud!" He said, holding his friends head above the water, "Ill get you someplace with a nice fire soon! Just hang on!"

The Hornets roared into the battle, thousands at a time.
"Commander, whatre we supposed to do? Their turrets are too strong! We need to-"
"Send the Planet Buster in." The commander said, scratching his white haired beard.

The officer went as white as his hair.
"Sir, thats a thermonuclear warhead made from dark matter. If we send it in-"
"I know the risks, Captain. Do it." He says, completely calm as he adds, "And evacuate the ship immediately."

"But, sir.." the Captain says, realizing what he was going to do. The commander took off his rank-plaque, walked to him, salutes, and said, "Commander, get the fūck off of my ship."

The young man hesitated, looking at the excape pod.
The ex-commander hit the young man in the jaw, dragging him to the pod and launched it toward a few miles away from his hometown in Texas.

"Planet Buster ready, Commander." The automated voice said, letting him know it was time.
"DARK, send this ship into that photon." He commanded, at peace at last.
"I can not do that, Commander. I am-"
"You are going to do as I say when I say it, you damned machine! And I say ram the goddamned Photon canon!" He yelled, feeling the ship begin to kick into overdrive as the Self-destruct sequence began, flying into the enemy warships photon canon.

He smiled as the amazing white flash filled his vision, taking his mind off of his immidiate and glorious death.
