Chapter 3

"That's insane Jessica!" screamed Dad, I rolled my eyes and sat down at the table.
"But Dad its a great idea!" I argued
"No, no and no Jess!" Dad set a plate of food in front me.
I ate dinner silently tonight, Mom and Dad didn't eat since they were going on, date night.
I was slightly happy about date night, gave me an extra two hours to work on my plan.
While mom was in the shower, singling horribly and loudly to the shower head I went up to my room.
Dad knocked on my door, "Hey kiddo?" He said
I rolled over to face him, I was in the middle of a Power Rangers marathon!
Dad came over to sit on my bed.
"You know, that plan of yours might offend a lot of people."
"I know, its just I need to help them!" I paused the show.
"You know, you go ahead then, maybe they do need help!"
Dad patted my back and straightened his tie, "See you later kiddo!"
He closed my door back, I thought for a second.
Maybe I do need to help them!





Mom and Dad had left for their weekly date night.
I was in my room, writing my big speech, when all of a sudden "knock, knock"
I flinched, I went downstairs and peeked out the window.
Oh just a pizza guy, wrong address! I headed back upstairs.
"ding dong, ding dong, ding dong" I stopped, turn around and unlocked the door.
"You have--"
"Pizza delivery for 6753 Trumbet Rd.!!!"
Did Mom and Dad send this? I shrugged signed for it, then took the pizza to the table.
I opened the box, cheese pizza! My favorite!!!
Just as I was about to shove a piece in my mouth "knock, knock" I groaned.
"Who is it?!" I screamed.
"Jared!" A voice screamed back.
Jared? The boy from school?
I jumped out of my seat to open the door.
"Hey Jared!"
"Hey Jess!"
Jared walked in, without my saying so. I shrugged and closed the door.
"My parents ordered that pizza for your family." Said Jared.
"Oh, well my parents are gone out to dinner and I already ate. But we could share?"
"Sure!"
Jared followed me to my room, holding the big box of pizza.
Jared and I ate, as I continued writing my plan.
"What's that?" Asked Jared.
"Oh, nothing really, just something I'm writing."
Jared and I finished our pizza just as Mom and Dad came in the house laugh, with someone else?
Jared and I, flew down the stairs. "Mom! Dad!" said Jared.
