I couldn't believe I'd actually told Avery and Lexi about my crush on Ian! As we walked to our usual table, Table 7, I couldn't help but catch Ian's eyes among everyone else's. But he didn't notice me, too busy talking to Aaron, but he was still cute to stare at. He had floppy black hair, and was sort of tanned.

I couldn't really remember when my crush had started on Ian. I'd known him since Kindergarten, and he'd just been the boy that shoved food into his face. But somewhere over the summer, he'd gotten, well, cute. Plus, I ended up next to him in English, and when he opened the door for me last week, I just about fainted. My crush on him just sneaked up on him, and now he was the only thing on my mind.

I always brought my lunch, so I sat down while Lexi and Avery went to buy. The lunch here at Watercress Middle was actually amazing, considering it was SCHOOL lunch.

I admit, our school is pretty good, but that doesn't mean we were all stuck up. The gossips and popular kids (Eva*cough* EVA) were the ones who really rubbed it in everyone's faces. But after three years, you get used to it.
