Aidan

(This is Aidan)

He had deep, chocolate-brown eyes and black hair. And his smile... It was perfect.
"Nothing much. Hey, are you new here?" he asked. I was at loss for words. He looked at me questionably.
"Oh yes, I'm... I'm Heather." He smiled that amazing smile again.
"Nice to meet you Heather! I'm Aidan." He picked up his books from his locker and closed it.
"Well, I'll see you around!" Aidan walked down the hall and turned out of sight. I slid down the outside of the locker door like a little kid.

At that moment, Candy came into view, tailed by what looked like the custodian. She saw my expression and immediately started grinning. "Told you you were lucky," she said. I perked up, half in jealousy, half in interest.
"Why? Do you like him too?" Candy blushed, but quickly faded back to her slightly crazed expression.
"Oh no, I wouldn't even dream," she said, looking away. I smiled. Then the bell rang.
"Shit," I groaned.
"It's fine!" Candy replied. She opened my bag and ripped out a piece of paper from my notebook.
"Hey, what..." I protested. She ignored me and grabbed a pen from the front pocket of my bag. She jotted down something, then turned to the janitor.
"Can you give this to Mr. Tokeshi before homeroom ends? Heather's new here." The janitor nodded and took the note, then continued fixing my locker door. I gave Candy a weird look.
"What was that?" I asked once we were out of earshot of the janitor. Candy looked up at me innocently and shrugged.
"I'm friends with everyone. Now, let's get on with the tour."
